Question Oil change

Just changed oil in my 04 F-150 and when I started it up it sounded like it had no oil in for 3-4 sec. Has anyone else had this happen to them. I have been changing my own oil for 35 yrs. and have never heard this before. Would pre-filling filter cut this out?

I had the same problem on Saturday during my first change as well.... scared the heck out of me! Will insist on pre-filling the filter in the future.

Would an additive (duralube or sim?) help??

I changed my oil on sat. and pre-filling the filter not a sound. I also turned it over one crank at a time three or four time so the eng. wouldn't fire.
