coolant leak
i have a brand new 302 in my truck and i noticed a coolant leak from the second main head bolt on the drivers side of my truck. i then replaced the head gaskets thinking that was the problem. but it still leaks. do i need more thread sealer or is the problem even deeper like a cracked coolant passage? thanks for any comments.

Have you checked to see if the coolant is leaking out around the bolt rather than through it? If there is warpage of the head, the gaskets may not seal. Just because it is new doesn't mean it is right. If it is coming out through the hole, I'd have it checked for a crack.

yeah i took some heads from a v6 to have them cleaned up put them on the block buttoned everything up turned out they milled them 8th inch when put water in the radiator water was gushing out the block where there was such a difference in head and intake so had to get a different set of heads and have valve job done in those costed me 200 bucks
So its possible whoever did the head work or worked on intake milled to much off and its not sealing
