cold starting

I have a 89 f150 302, when it get cold out like below 30 it will start up and Immediately floods out. If i don't floor the gas as soon as it fires to clean it out it will foul out like 3or 4 plugs. It is very intermitant and it started doing this last year. I have replaced coolant sensor and the air temp sensors it not giving me any codes. What could be the problem?

It sure sounds like a fuel delivery problem. What do the plugs look like, though? Is it carbon fouling or is there something more insidious at work? If it is rich fuel fouling the plugs, no oil, than there is obviously a problem with the EFI, electronically. Just because you do not get a trouble code, doesn't mean the system is working properly. I'm assuming the air is not restricted to the throttle body.

At least, that's my spin on the dliemna. I'd start in that direction if I were having this problem.

in the inside back cover on the haynes manual it gives a chart of spark plugs. you match up what the plug tip looks like and it tells you the problem.
