polishing Mickey T's help

I have a set of 15 inch Mickey Thompson Classic II's (polished aluminum alloy.) Does this mean that they have a clearcoat? Second, I let brake dust sit on em' too long I guess, and now I have that rust like appearance. What is the best way to remove this? I have tried Mother's in the past on polished aluminum but it doesn't seem to remove this rusty appearance.
Any help would be great!

Try using Braso brand polish. or go to Home Depot and go to the polish aisle, thier is an aluminum polish in a small squeeze tube, I can't think what it is called, but they don't carry very many polishes.

Mothers all purpuse wheel cleaner works great for me, i spray and let it sit for 10 seconds then with a soft sponge, lightly rub the wheel. cleans it right up.
