2/07/04 Meet

We will be having a meet at Babes Fried Chicken in Roanokee Texas 2/07/04 around 4 or 5pm. This place is very busy so I'm trying to get a head count. No definates needed, but if you might beable to make it please post up. When we are done eating we will probably be heading to the Grapevine area to either Main Event or Game Works (in Grapevine mills), atleast us younger guys will be! haha!
This will be a joint meet with another Ford truck club and we should have a showing of about 10 people from that group. That group is mostly newer trucks so I'm hoping some of you guys with older trucks will make it out!
Do not worry about finding Babes as it is somewhat off the main road. I will meet anyone who has not been to Babes before at the Albertsons on the corner of hwy 114 and 377.
More details to follow so watch this thread. If you have any questions or comments please e-mail me or post up.
We look forward to seeing you 2/07/04!
Nick

Dangit I missed ya!
If you're on hwy 35W headed north Take the highway 114 exit (right by Texas motor speedway) and head east. 1st stop light you come to will be the hwy 114 and 377 intersection. Albertsons is on the Southeast corner. We will meet there at 4pm and go eat at a local chicken place at 4:30pm. As long as the weather is good after eating we will head to Denton (15min north) to the local 1/8th mile race track. If not we're going over to the Grapevine area (15min east) to play games (lots of younger guys is this club, go figure!).
If you see this and need more help call my cell at (940)-368-2818

Ok I talked to the tracks General Manager and they close at 6pm on Saturday this time of year due to cold temperatures. So basically that means the track is out of the picture unless we changed the meet time but that wouldn't be good incase people don't check the board often.
So we're back to playing games in Grapevine OR we can go into Fort Worth for the new car show. I hear they have the new Ford GT on display. About 300 cars there, but they're all new. Whatever y'all wanna do. I know the show is 8 bucks to get in and is open until 10pm, but you can print a dollar cupon off of the Fortworth Star Telegrams automotive website. Whatever y'all want to do. **Either way we're still meeting at Albertsons at 4pm and eating at 4:30 at Babes.** Post up if you have a better idea of something to do.
I plan to have a track meet up sometime in March so watch for details. Sucks we can't go now but I'm sure we can find other things to do.
