fit 35s
i have a 97 f150 4x4 with the off road package and a 3" body lift. i have 33s on it now and they fit fine but look a little small, if i crank my tortion bars and put an add-a-leaf on will i be able to clear 35s? i think a little "fender work" may be needed but i want to know if anyone has done anything like it before?

Cranking up your tortion bars and using add-a-leafs will result in a horrible ride. This is kind of the trailer park method and not ever advised if you can afford better. Since it sounds like you are willing to do some fender trimming, just get the tires you want and clear what you have to. It you simply want your truck taller get a suspension lift.

Well, flares just get ripped off when you hit the trail anyways. A steady hand with a Sawzall can do amazing things. I've seen jobs so smooth they looked like they came that way from the factory. One guy had the edges "rolled" at a body shop and it looked awesome. You could always make yourself a template, draw on you lines, and go at it slow and easy. I'm sure you could pay a bodyman to do it too if you didn't want to.
