Okay I tried to do a search on this but it keeps saying that it is basically overloaded. Anyway, I have a 96 PSD that the temp gage doesn't move on. I took the single wire connector loose from the sender that sits next to where the upper radiator hose goes into the engine and I grounded it--shouldn't it peg the gage when I do this or am I doing something wrong. The sender has already been replaced also. HELP! TIA
i have a 94.5 psd and my gauge doesen't move off of the cold side.I was wondering if my thermostat was bad and where is it located.any help would be great thanks

Grounding the wire should peg the guage when you turn the key on.

Dosen't move at all or just dosen't move very much? Doubt it's the thermostat, that would make it overheat, not overcool.

Thanks for your reply. The gauge doesn't move very much, and if I try grounding the wire and it pegs the gauge this means the gauge is all right correct. So by it not moving very much is this normal.
