351M stalling

I appologize if this has already been covered in another post, but if it has i couldnt find it. if it is, then could someone point me in the right direction, thanks. so here it is. i have a 79 F150 4X4 with an auto tranny and after the engine is warmed up it dosent run well, stalls then wolnt start again for a few days. it wolnt even start on starting fluid. i've changed every electrical componet that i can tell has anything to do with ignition, 2 fuel filters (one at the carb and one on the frame rail), the carb itself, the valley pan gasket cause it looked like it wasnt holding too much of a vaccum. and the battery and starter, mostlikely due to all the cranking i've been doing to try and get it running. as far as the carb goes a friend of mine helped me tune it, it seemed to pretty much be set right where it needed to be, but hes a bowtie guy and i dont think he knows anything about a ford. anyway i'm at the end of any ideas i can think of. by the way while i'm writing, does anyone know how i can get my engine to not look like a bowl of spaghetti? i really dont like digging around vaccum lines to see my engine. thanks

yes i checked that, i borrowed a meter from my friend and read the right voltage going to all my plugs (well close enough), and as far a fuel i just loosened the filter at the filter and got a gasoline bath so i have that much atleast, i dont have anything i can check compression with though, but i'm pretty sure i have that or it wouldnt run in the first place, right?

If you don't mind, please give us a list of EXACTLY what you have changed, and if its aftermarket, what brand. We need to start somewhere.

How is the carb adjusted? How far are the air mixture screws turned out?

is the electric choke adjusted properly?

I seriously can't explain why it won't start for a few days after dieing like that.
