instrument and inside lights not working
hey yall, i had a question on my 1998 f-150.
a coupla weeks ago i discovered my panel cluster lights quit working. ok, i was to busy to fix them.then the other day my inside overhead light quit working when i open the door.but i can reach up and turn them on/off manually.
i checked my fuse's and they are all good. whats up with these? anybody seen this before? thx--jw

Hi and welcome to FTE 
I would look into the dimmer switch possiby. The dash lights and dome light is controlled from there, but they are not on the same fuse. Did you check the fuses under the hood too that are in the power distribution box that is located on the drivers side close to the firewall?
Does the door dinger and door ajar light still work?
Does it work with the passenger door?

thanks jimmy,yea i forgot the "hey i'm a noob here yall" line.
anyway, the dimmer switch is suspect then. hmmmmm, didn't check the one's under the hood. i figured those were the highr voltage variety. but will check now. the door dinger still works when ya leave the keys in the ignition and open the door!
no the passenger side does not work either. thx again.
