96 Explorer CD problems
96 Explorer XLT. 6-CD changer. Changer works great.But player will not recogize any CDs. Was working fine, just quit suddenly. Then a few days later, it started working again, but has quit again.
Any ideas? Dirty lens?

The X changers were notorious for dust. Get a can of compressed air and spray the entire can through the inside trying to get anything out you can. Also, make sure all the connections are good to the changer itself, along with the radio...

Im pretty handy with this kind of stuff, if I only know what it is that needs fixed. If I do have to remove the head, which I already have the instructions for, what exactly is it that needs cleaned or fixed inside of the head?
