incentives/rebates???

I'm sure some of you guys were watching the sugarbowl last night and saw the Ford commercials. Didn't it say $3000 cash back on all 2004 model vehicles? I only caught a glimpse of the commercial but did see a postage stamp sized picture of an 04 f-150. However, I can't find anything about it on the ford website. Just curious!

I'm very interested too.....since I'm ordering an FX4 tonight!!! I did notice today on the Kelley BB site that Ford dropped the list price on the FX4 by about $300.

I didn't see the ad, but I'm sure they said "UP TO" $3,000 in rebates on all 2004s. That would be the Taurus and Explorer. edmundrsku, you may want to check that website again, as all F-150s went UP by $150 on December 26th.

That sounds about right 1956markII. As the old saying goes if it sounds to go to be true, it probably isn't!! I did just order an FX4 with an expected delievery of ~5-6wks and the salesman said he was anticipating better rebates during that time, but that was just his opinion.

$3000 off on trucks!? Nope. That's one reason I hate watching those commercials -- they just serve to get my hopes up. Anyway, just keep checking the web site. They do very well at keeping it up-to-date.

Yes, the MSRP did increase $150. Luckily, my sales lady reimbursed me the extra expense since the pricing we'd both been using was 'old'. They also increase some other option prices. I was told the Audiophile would not be a single line item, but that there is now both an Audiophile and a 6-CD changer line item.

When you order a truck, you get any rebates and/or better interest rates that come up prior to taking possession of your vehicle. Since my order went in today, I'm all for a new rebate to come up since I'm currently not getting any expect for lower %ing. I have my fingers crossed! I was told it would take about 8 weeks for my truck to arrive.

Remember the lower interest rate incentives are really like rebates of cash especially since bate rates are creeping up. I would rather invest my cash in the stock market making at least 12% the next year rather than plunk it down on the truck. The inflation rate will be low for the next few months but it will surely be at least 3-4% over the life of a loan at 1.9% or less. Time value of money and Present Value / Future Value calculations. Keep checking the Ford incentive site. I caught the 4 day only incentive in early December with 1.9 for 72.
