Naughty boy
I am not sure when they started with the belt minder warning, I have it on my '04 and I know that it was on prior year models. It can be disabled, just look at the FAQ's on the top of the Super Duty forum, interior/exterior section for instructions. It dings after you start driving similar to the pattern you described. I am pretty sure if you buckle and unbuckle the seat belt each time you start the engine, it will stop until you can have time to do the "belt minder" dance to turn it off permanently.

Did you have any battery failures or repair work done that might have reset the belt minder feature?
No repairs other than the IAR valve a month ago...........I'll do the seatbelt proceedure when I can get back into the truck.....Thanks for the idea's :-)
