Help!
My father owns a 1999 f-250 Superduty Pick up. Last week while he was driving do the road the spark plug apparently was forced out of the engine. The threading was stripped. First, What caused this? All of the changes have been done professionaly done. Second, has this happened to anyone else? Is there a recall? I heard there was but couldn't find it on this site. Third, What can I do about it? DOes the engine have to be rebuilt? Help!!!

Do a search on this forum and you will find that your father is not alone with the sparkplug blowout problem.
No tsb's or recalls on this problem!
did dealers do the service for your father? Ford might offer some help with the cost of the repair.doubt it though

Help!
Our local Ford dealer rebuilt the engine and fixed the problem, fixed a proble with the door, put new front tires on it, and aligned it for $425. We were very happy. Thanks!
