First Message - Electric Door Locks
This is my first note I have posted on FTE. I have 1999 F350 Lariat with electric everything. Over the last few days, the door lock on the driver door has quit working. All 3 other doors lock and unlock as per normal. The driver door lock moves a little bit, but not enough to do the trick. Has anybody else ran into this problem and if so is there a quick fix besides a trip to Ford. If I have to go to Ford, how much is thing likely to cost. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try wd-40 in the latch area or silicone.It may just be dirty or gummy.
Does anything rattle when you shake the door?
Clip that holds the actuator arm may have fallen off.
or the actuator solenoid is going bad .
Don't know about cost,anything from dealers is $
Its not to hard to remove the door panel.
If you need help in doing that let us know
