A chip is the only way you can do this. There apparently some drivetrain resonation that can cause it to blow up and that is way the govenor is there. I have thought about getting rid of mine just so I don't have the fuel cut off and on when I am driving around those speeds, but if I do I won't push it above 100 and I'll keep it lower except under special driving situations. heh, gotta love these posts. I always see posts about the speed governers. Hammy is right, the only way to remove the limiter is to buy a chip (superchip, diablo) and ask them to remove the speed limiter. The chip can also improve performance by adjusting the timing for premium fuel. I think you can get one for 200-300 bucks. Check out www.motorhaven.com and I think there is a forum on this site for chips and tuners.
By the way, be careful going over 90 with truck tires, they're not rated for that speed. Personally, I've only had my truck to 85-90 once or twice because I was chasing someone (long story), which is plenty fast for a 4x4 truck.
