Head Rest Removal
Just a quick note about installing seat covers on my 03 F150, with the 60/40 split seat. Could apply to all, but....
To remove the headrest, both the instructions (Cabelas) for the covers AND owners manual say to lift the headrest to the highest position, then release it using a stiff pin or wire (paper clip) by inserting the pin into the hole on the opposite side from the release button. Well, mine had no hole, but does have a 'button' that will push in to release the headrest. Button is the same size as the release for the headrest, but fits flush with the plastic ring.
I won't go into how long I searched for that hole for the pin!
Suffice it to say I have had the covers for about 4 months now, just installed today. DUH!

I was looking for that hole too (but not for 4 months!), because I had read in one of these posts about it. Mine has the flush button also, I guess the older models have the hole?
Anyway, how did those seat covers fit? I'm thinking about getting some, but I want a good fit. What brand did you get?
