Super Duty Inner Bed Width
A friend at work recently purchase a 02 F350 4x4,CC,LB,V-10 and went to put a slide in truck camper in it that came out of a 97 F-250 and the camper is about 3in. too wide.What gives?Has anyone heard of this before?It seems that the area where the tailgate latches is narrower.He is now in the process of making his camper skinnier.
Not that I put much stock in it but the local camper and GMC dealer told him Dodge trucks have the same fitment problems.
IMO,that would be a hell of a note after spending $30+ on a new truck.

Super Duty Inner Bed Width
I think the Super Duty beds are narrower at the tailgate end because they use the F150 tailgate, but the truck is 3-4 inches wider everywhere else.
