Anyone know a low cost way to keep my garage floor from sweating other than ripping it up and starting over? It's very anoying & slick in the winter or on high humidity days.
Yep I got gutters and good water run off of property, see the deal is the house had a Model T size lean-to garage with a sloped roof that i painted one car in and said screw this! So I tore off old section with a endloader (which is a whole other story) and added on a nice 40X38 garage attached to my home, but I left the old concrete slab that was finished out nice and added another slab to the new side to fill in the new area, now the left side has moisture but right larger half doesnt.
they didnt use any moisture barrier on left side, but it was poured probly in 1950 or sooner so I doubt that was used any back then even when its dry its super smooth finish is easy to clean just a pain in the butt when it gets damp out.
