1989 f-250 pulling codes
Hi everyone I tried to smog our truck two days ago and the guy said it was missing and he wouldnt test it. So i took it home and changed the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. And it still has a slight miss at idle. I did the engine off self test and came up with code 31 and 32. So I replaced the egr valve and position sensor. That cleared those codes. But i still have a slight miss at idle, I tried to do the engine running test but no lights flash or anything. My question is how do I do the self test with the engine running? And what else might cause the miss.

Never heard of that before -
You don't change anything and you have everything the same way as the Key off test?
When you turn it on, does it idle the same as usual? Also how long do you wait before giving it up?
