a deep freeze

Well, it looks like the temps are gonna get pretty crappy around here in ND. The highs are supposed to be around 0 to 10 below in the coming days. Go figure, my car and truck both had to have problems at the same time as the cold weather. Anyone else getting caught in this "artic air"?

Looks like more staying in and and less in the snow.

It's warming up here in Alaska. We're sending all that arctic air south for the winter.

I wake up this morning and the radio guy said that the weather just 300 miles away was -10...it was 11 above here and in a few days we will be having that wonderous weather....then on to North Dakota. Finally had a good snow here, got about 8 inches of nice wet snow. Man was it slippery.

Ya'll ain't got nothing on us. It just warmed up to -20f. I'm used to -30f. Sometimes it can hit -50f or even worse on a bad year. Now try -40f and have the wind blowing at 10-20mph.

We think its a heat wave if we get into postive single digit temps.

After about -30f it don't make a difference, it just feel cold.

thats cause you so darned close to the arctic circle you get so much cold weather....when you get weather like that so often its just another day, we dont get weather like that very often recently but when we do it is cold and usually stays cold for a while.

My trucks usually run into problems in cold weather too. Although not as cold as some of you guys, the 25-40 degrees here is cold enough for me.
