ignition issue?
Im 21, but Ive had my 77 F-150 since i was 17. Ive been very slowly restoring the truck, but nowhere near complete. Recently my jeep broke down ( clutch problems), and i had to slap all the required stuff on the truck so i could run it until my parts come in for the jeep. Its been sitting for a while, but never had any problems starting....for the last three years whenever i went to start it it usually cranked over one or two times and then the flowmasters were singing...now all of a sudden its acting like its flooded when i try to start? just cranks and cranks until the battery is dead, then i get a jump and usually it fires right up. Any ideas? Ive had one person tell me to re-route my fuel line because it may be boiling and when i shut it off its loading up the bowl on my carb. im baffled...i completely built the motor...know pretty much everything about it....plz help. its a 302 Boss, electronic ignition, 289 HO intake, 351 heads and crank. Thanks
