Help! Carb Identification
Well I picked up a 2V Motorcraft Carb last night & have no Idea what model it is, can anyone help on Identifing the carb #'s.
It has it's tag #'s: D 9D E, RB, B 9A 24.
My 78 Bronco had the Original Carb untill some A-Hole stole it, so I've been looking for a replacement.
If you look down the throat it has 2 nozzles/jets @ the top before the choke plate & 2 more @ the venturi's also there is a plunger in the middle that moves up & down when you accelrate/deccelrate.
I picked up the Bronco up this summer & really have not been off roading in it & then the heads blew, so I just got done rebuilding the 351M bored .30 over.
If anyone can help would be great, I would love to get her back on the road since it's been snowing here WA.
If I had 1 thing Negative to say about the Bronco's design would be the Heater/Condensor ford had put in. I tore that thing out & put in a heater from a 71 F250, Now I have plenty of room in the engine bay & I don't have to fight getting #4 spark plug In.
Otherwise She is a great puller alot of low end torque.
