I did a search on this and couldn't find what I was looking for, so here it goes. I have a 95 F150 XLT, 5.0, Auto. I wired up a 7 pin trailer connection to the factory pigtails using posi-lock connectors. I also wired up a brake control to the factory pigtail under the dash using a Hoppy connector. I did not disconnect the battery. When I was wiring the brake control pigtail, I got a spark. Now, there is no power to the Aux. Power at the 7 pin connector. All fuses listed in the owners manual are OK. So my question is, where is this mystery fuse box? Or does that only apply to newer trucks. Any info will help.
Thanks
There is one fuse box located on the instrument panel on the left of the steering column. An access cover in the dash covers this fuse box.
A second fuse panel/power distribution box is located in the engine compartment just forward and under the brake master cylinder. The trailer brake control fuse should be the second fuse down from the top. It is a 30 amp fuse.
If your truck came with the trailer towing option (it sounds like it did), there is a small extension on the back of the power distribution box that contains a trailer battery charge relay and a backup lamp relay.
