Guages inop
1994 Ford Explorer Limited, 156K, gas guage went inop about two weeks ago. Now amp guage is sticking in the negative position. Can tap on dash and amp guage works. Any ideas on repair or troubleshooting?

Sounds like a bad ground around the instrument panel. I have the Ford Electrical manual for our 95 explorer. I can fax or email you the wiring diagram for the guages circuit and any troubleshooting guides if you contact me off-line.
