4.9 six ?

4.9 six ?

I'm looking at buying a cargo van. I've always been a V8 guy, or at least prefered them. I'm not seeing may of these vans for sale with V8's, mostly they have 4.9 6's. Can some one tell me if they match up in torque or horse power. Also, where could I find a list of spec's? Thanks

If geared right they'll beat a V8 and I would go for a low miler drive one around to see if that is what you want

As long as you arn't pulling any heavy trailers the six should have more than enough power for that van. Also the six should give you pretty decent fuel economy compared to the bigger V8.

thank you guys, i appreciate the opinions. what I'm hoping for is to find some technical facts. I don't want to buy a van with a whimpy motor! Know what I mean?
