I've got the same question! Does anyone have a schematic or photo they can post to show where these O2 sensors are and which ones they are (bank 1 sensor 1, etc.). Guys at the parts stores are no help or aren't sure (AutoZone & Napa).
My vehicle is a '97 Mountaineer 5.0L V8. I just bought an O2 sensor from AutoZone for a P0133 trouble code (bank 1 sensor 1). I thought I had the correct one replaced but my check engine light still comes on. I want to know if it may be the wrong one or there's other things going on.
I've been told that depending on the engine, it may have either 3 or 4 O2 sensors and that mine should have 4. I can only locate 3 (1 in upstream and 2 downstream).
