mini starter
I am putting new ceramic hedders on my 67 4x4. I have been told that I should either wrap my starter or get a new mini high torque starter. The engine (352) is out of the truck. Any idea where I can get a new mini ? Also can I install the motor with the hedders on? I thoght that there was one that had to be put on after or during engine installation.

you can set the headers in place as you are lowering the engine, that seems to work best, you can put the headers on before you put the engine in, it doesnt work to well, i believe jc whitnet has mini starters, just check out there website, they also seel heat shields for starters to. another good place would be jegs, they also sell all that stuff.
