Mine's a 92 ex-cab, short box, with a 5.8L...so yes they do. Look for XLT shortboxes, they'll have 5.8's in them.

 

I imagine you meant 92-96 single cab swb. I have never seen one with the 5.8 other than the lightning, but I don't see why there wouldn't be one out there. I have seen the 302 swb F150, but either is a hard find.

 

I think the only standard cab, short boxes with a 5.8L were lightnings......I had a hell of a time finding my current truck. It has a 302 with a shortbox, standard cab with 4:10 gears with a Trac-Loc and a manual transfer case with manual hubs. Only 1993 with a 302 I have ever seen with factory ordered 4:10 gears.
