I was wondering what the average life is on the original glow plugs? Also what is the replacement cost of them? I'm approaching 68,000 on my "01" PSD and I'm curious to know. Thanks guys!

 

My truck is pre-SuperDuty, so the costs might be a little different, but expect to pay about $8 each for them. I don't know the answer to how long they last. I bought my truck used, drove it for 40K miles, and replaced them all when I replaced the injector O-rings.
