After getting my turn signals all hooked up(53 switch,Bobs F100 harness,GM 1 wire alternator)they wouldn't work with the key switched on...till I bumped the starter! What would cause this?Thanks...
Sounds like you are powering your turn signals with a source that's hot only when the starter is activated. Perhaps you are coming off the starter switch? You need a power source that's hot only when the key is in the 'on' position, not start. I'm not that familiar with original styled wiring systems, so I can't say with certainty but it might just mean you have a power wire coming off the wrong side of the starter switch.
