need height help

i have a 99 f150 4x4 ext. cab, does anyone know how to gain an extra 2 or 3 inches of height cheap? Can you crank the torsion bars and then add a block or leaf spring to the rear end?

Yes
I have heard that you can crank up the torsion bard 5 or 6 turns. Just make sure that you do them evenly or it will sit lopsided.
If the axle is under the springs in the rear, then you can install blocks.

Please do not install lift blocks. I have also heard that cranking those torsion bars will lessen the ride quality......makes for a stiffer ride. Save for a lift and do it the right way!
