'79 D60 splines?

hmmm, hard to say with out lookin. id say that there are some numbers somewhere on the axle that youd be able to tell, but who knows if somebody has changed anything. 24 years is a lot of time fer somthin like that to have been changed.

steve_uzi may be right about all d60's havin 35 splines. call up the company yer gettin the detroit from and see what they say. there should be some numbers stamped in the axle tube. they arent very big so expect to get a wire brush after the tube to find them.

all front ford, chevy and dodge 60's used 35 spline in there front housings and 30 spline outers, jason.
