Question for you - Ford is telling me that I need to bring my 2000 F150 and 2001 Expy in for an inducti0n cleaning every 45-50k miles to ensure continued peak performance. Anyone had this done or had any problems for not getting it done. Thanks.

I like that - "Thi$ $ervice"
Ain't that the truth - they told my brother the same thing. It was pathetic - the guy was trying to present the service real matter-of-fact. Sounded like he was reading from a card "Oh, and one more thing you may want to think about, Mr. Schear - over time, carbon deposits can build up causing knocking/power loss/etc and we have a special system that cleans and lubricates..etc etc etc"
Sounded like a commercial. I'm all for preventative maintainence, but some of this stuff is just absurd.
Its all about seperating people who don't know any better from their wallets. If anyone thinks they can get away with it, they will charge for extra useless crap, or just overcharge.
