Is there a way to replace the stock 8-track without destroying the dash? I have a pioneer cd player gigger rigged in a home made box on the hump. I have may of built but now i want to get rid of it. Damn thing is to big and throwing away give me more room.

I had to cut the heater control bracket, and trim the dash panel.
the current radio bracket is as wide as the CD player, so you have to do some cutting.
