Go to Google search, type in "smileys" , "avatars" or anything else to do with smileys animated or not. I have saved a multitude of smileys that are both animated or stationary. All you need to do is find a smiley or animated .gif, right click it and save it to your "my pictures" or any other folder that you may want to create just for these pictures and are easy to find.
I use a large number of smileys and .gifs in emails, if nothing else. Sometimes it's fun to add a little animation to something you've said in an email, just like in a chat room.if you have an animated .gif that you want to use here as an avatar or a signature picture, just copy it and save it to the right area in editing your profile.
There are thousands of smileys and .gifs out there free. Just don't link to that website...copy and save it to your puter and you wont use up unnecessary bandwidth on someone else's site.
I hate the smileys. Reminds me of the infamous "Baby on Board" thingies. Never did really understand that. I guess I wasn't supposed to run into that car!
