Question Clutch Replacement

My clutch in my ranger is starting to slip. It's a 1992 with the 3.0 liter. Since it has over 170k miles on it should I replace everthing or just the disc and pressure plate? All help greatly appreciated.

Disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and input shaft bushing (or bearing-not sure what's in the flywheel in that vehicle). If you are planning to keep the truck, I would at least get the flywheel turned (resurfaced). Take a look at it when you pull the tranny to see how it looks. But the other stuff is pretty important if you want to keep driving the truck. Are you sure the clutch is adjusted properly? Might save some time and money to check that first. Good luck.

Welcome to FTE 88bigbronco.
Do the entire system including the clutch master. The last thing you want to do is have to bleed the hydraulic system twice.
