Why is it that when your on the highway with a posted limit 0f 100 kmh that inevitably you get behind some clown doing 80 or 90 about 5 kliks from town, you can't pass, they won't speed up.
And then you hit town the limit drops to 60 and then 50 and the moron keeps doing 80 or 90 till the next light .
This happens all the time around here and it drives me NUTS.
I'm not sure but I think I'm getting less and less tolerant as I get older.
Yeah I had one guy inparticular, that I almost pushed off the side. He held his empty 1/2 ton at a 110K in the slow lane of the passing lane. We were doing 90 till we hit the grade. I had a 3/4 ton 460 with a camper on and could not get my speed up cause this moron was going so slow. I was dying to pass and then he held me off even pulling infront of me to let other cars go by
The passing lane ended and back to 90 we went with noway for me to get by. If my wife and kids weren't with me I would have (or fantizize I would) pushed his but off the road.
Oh that feels better. This was two years ago and it still rips me.
For these folks that polk along we did invent a great add-on. It's called the push bar. It's all that d@## paper work that keeps me from buying/using one. Now replace your small fast accelerating 4 wheeler with a loaded 18 wheeler and see how long your patience lasts.
Mick460 I here ya I've seen some real gomers try to take on a semi no wrecks but I could just imagine the words coming out of the truckers mouth.
I generaly take 10 or 20 (km's)over the limit to keep up with or get away from traffic at least on the highway. I just think that around town with all the little people (old and young) running around extra dilligence is required.
And darn it if you can't do the speed limit om the highway GET OFF!
