I was wondering if any of the members on the forum have any info on a FORD lowering kit for an F350 4x4. I have a need to lower my truck for the purpose of towing my 5th wheel. I have heard there is a kit that Ford offers that will not invalidate my warrante? I am also not sure where the blocks that are refered to (4" or 2") are located. Would I also need to lower the front to kept things proportional? Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Gus
Depending how much you need to lower it, usually our trucks come factory with the nose around 2 inches lower than the tail.
An F350 should have 4" blocks between the rear axle and the spring pack. If you need to lower it by two inches, you could replace the block with one from a F250, which comes with a 2" block stock.
If you were to do that, you wouldn't have to touch the front because now the truck would be pretty close to level.
I can't help you with a lowering kit, but place like www.natltire.com may be able to
