super duty aluminum wheels-center cap mounting
I have a deluxe set of aluminum wheels off a 2002 super duty and will be putting them on a 2003 super duty with steel wheels. The factory aluminum mags have the polished center caps which look like they snap on the lug nuts somehow. Will I have to buy different lug nuts or will these wheels and center caps interchange exactly with the xl steel wheels? Do the caps just snap on the lug nuts or do I need more hardware?? Thanks, Kurt

Do all the hubs have the same length studs? Aluminum wheels will require longer studs than steel, but it seems that they all would be the same, and the steel wheels would just have a little more thread showing on the stud. I don't know for sure with the SRW trucks. This was an issue with my dually when I wanted to put aluminum rims on the inside of the rear axle to replace the steel ones. I just decided to leave it alone.
Then I just got rid of the dually...
