...oh. I know, it's a little late for this question, but what I want to know is:
Do you use real candles or electric candles on your christmas tree?
I know, it's very dangerous but I prefer real candles. When the candles are burning there is always someone in the room and a fire extingusher is by hand.
I have'nt seen a tree with real candles on it since i was a kid, I think they're cool to look at and gives the tree a different look. However this day in age i would have to say no on real candles to much of a fire risk.
I do still have a old working set of lighted candles that when they heat up they bubble inside them.
Never seen a tree with real candles on it. we just use the white christmas lights on the big tree inside then colored lights on the small tree we put on our porch.
never seen a tree with real candles on it, but how many of you have a real tree and clean up the mess when you take it down, we had one this year and its the last real tree were ever going to have, atleast the fake trees you dont have to clean up pine needles when you take it down.
Seems dangerous. if it did catch fire on a larger tree you might want a sprinkler system .those trees burn fast.you might want to check your homeowners policy.
Real tree with color lights that blink. My tree this year was probably the best looking tree I have ever had. Just took it down today, the mess was big, but cleaned up in less than 20 minutes, so I don't see what the big deal is there fordman? Get a good healthy tree, water it every single day, sometimes twice if needed and the mess won't be so bad. Oh, and some places have a machine that vibrates the tree and knocks all the dead needles off before you even get it home, that cut back a lot on this years mess.
well this year we had a real tree like i said before never again and it did porlly look the best than any of them before it had blue and red lights that blinked and blue and red tinsal with a blue star on top.
i didnt know people still used real candles. but yea, that is a little risky. my great grandparents had those from germany. we use electic white lights on our tree.
