They can be replaced. Don't buy the cheap type that just cover your old mounts. Buy the ones just like the original ones. There will be some cutting, grinding and welding to do but if done right it will be hard to tell that they are not original.
Not Hard - just requires patience and certain tools like a grinder, cut-off wheel, mig-welder and some other basic tools. I did both of mine in one weekend and they came out great! PS- Got the new cab mounts from Dennis Carpenter but check the on-line store first.
Yes- you could buy the cheap ones and bolt them on. I tried that first and learned my lesson. They did not fit right and if I had continued to use them one side of the truck would have been higher that the other plus mine would have been unsafe. I don't recommend using those. I felt like I threw my money away because I tried to make them work and after that they were un-returnable.

Started mine today, removed the inner and outer fenders for better access but in doing so noticed the inner fenders where they bolt up to the rad support are a bit rough and was wondering if anyone has any experience using the "caps" (replacement metal) that is available for the top of the inner fenders.
Thanks for any info.

To remove the old cab mounts I just put some blocks of wood between the floor and the frame..Then got the grinder and cut the old cab mounts out...when the new ones get welded in tomorrow will adjust the hight of the cab by jacking it up to where it should be. Thats about all there is to it other that removing and putting back on the inner & outer fenders when the job is done.
