'03 Ranger exhaust system question

Does anyone know if the factory exhaust system on a 2003 Ranger 4.0 SOHC is Stainless or Aluminum-ized? I noticed today the tail pipe seems to be rusting like crazy and after only a few snows!

I'm not sure of what the metal, but I dont think its aluminum either. I think its the color of the metal they used.

I don't think it's either. Mine is already showing signs of deterioration after only 7,000 miles, and I wash the salt and calcium chloride off my truck after each snowfall. Ford never has used good exhaust systems on their trucks in my lifetime.
