Broken bolt!!! HELP!
Thanks for all the help
I replaced the timing chain & gears with gasket kit = 30.00
oh yeah... went ahead and bought a puller = 10.00
water pump = 28.00
All back together turned her over and instant purrrr...= priceless
Thanks for the help, you guys and this site our truley priceless
almost forgot.. once the timing chain cover was removed there was enough thread of the broken bolt to turn out with the help of PB Blaster and vicegrips. NO PROBLEM!!!!
But I could not see tearing it all apart to the point that it was right in front of me and not replacing it.
I am a Shade Tree Mechanic. I could not justify in my own mind doing that much work and not replacing it. (preventive maitance)
I was supposed to be scootin around the couch and easy chair today, watchin football.
Oh well.. at least I am able watch the late game.
