Question for the group RE:Performance
I have a 2001 Ford F150 Supercab. 5.4 engine. A rare one with moon roof factory installed. I love the truck and use it to pull a 20 foot trailer around the country. I have thought of some worthwhile upgrades but would like opinions of others as to the worth of doing it. First off, the MAC intake claims a 20.2 hp increase. Can this be so? Next I have thought of the Diablo chip . It claims as much as 25 hp increase using 93 octane or better. Next would be a dual exhaust system that doesn't give hp numbers but is claimed to 'be better'. I need all the info I can gather. Different brands, how yours works etc. Any comment pro or con is welcome.
