I'm still not getting the kind of RWHP I feel I should be with the Kenne Bell supercharger. Bell insists that the headers are the problem. I'm not sure I agree... But I may decide to see if the headers are the problem.
When I had my Borla headers installed I did not keep the stock manifolds and y-pipe. I have located a pair of stock V10 manifolds but still need the y-pipe in the event I remove the Borla headers.
You know I had been wondering if Kenne Bell was giving you a hard time about your Borla headers w/the screw blower!I know they say NO HEADERS with their kit but that kind of confuses me. You had a lean condition right? Are they claiming the oem cam has enough duration to allow too much blowby with the headers? Leading to the computer leaning the mix?

Yes.. That and if you've read the literature or talked to Jim Bell he blames everything short of 911 and high crime on headers.

LOL!!
If you get the stock setup back on I'd love to know how the Kenne Bell kit works out. I supercharged one of my previous trucks(92 GMC) and I want a screw blower on my 2002Exc but the thought of adding boost and leaving that "y" pipe on ?????? I don't know ? Kind of baffles me! The previous y pipe( like on monsta's Exc) had to have been much better. The later model y pipe is designed to increase back pressure!
