2" lift?

2" lift?
I have an '88 Bronco that I'd like to put a two inch lift on. I have 265/75 tires on it right now and I want to get tires which have 2 more inches in diamater on them.
My Questions:
-Is a 2" lift available for this year bronco?
-If it is available, where is the best place to get it, and what would I have to do to install this lift?
-Will a 2 inch lift it allow for the bigger tires?
This is my first time doing anything with suspension, so bear with me here..

2" why dont you want something bigger than that but yes they do make 2" suspension lifts for your bronco but now you need to start looking for a name brand in suspension lifts i'd suggest skyjacker or superlift

SkyJacker hs a 2" kit, Rough Country has a 2.5" kit, and Tuff Country has a 2.5" kit. The cost almost as much as a 4" kit or 6" kit. Of course you "may" not need extended radius arms with 2 to 2.5." As far as I know, thats it on 2-2.5" kits.

The 2" lift kit is a set of springs for the front, and, depending on the maker, a set of drop brackets for the arms. Being that a 285/75 is basically a 33/12.5, I really wouldnt worry about a lift unless your front end is totally shot and sagging really bad

As far as just springs, SuperLift has 1-2" springs and ProComp has 2 or 2.5" springs.

The shocks could be a hit or miss depending on the manufacturer. For the shocks to help some with the sagging, they would need to be a gas charged shock like the Doestch 9000 or Rancho RSX, and even then, you are only masking the problem of the worn springs. It really comes down to what you want to spend/how much work you want to do. Cheapest and easiest would be to put in another set of stock springs on the front, if you want the lift, then go with one of the kits that has the brackets, etc for the radius arms.

The Rough Country 2.5" lift includes shocks and pivot, drops, radius arm drops, and coil springs, and either a block or aal for the rear for about 349. Body lift would be around 79. I'm not sure if the Tuff Country has shocks included or not.
