Mine was set up with the elbow thing as well, after I got a good look at it. Made life super easy once I got it all jiggled out to where I could see it. Definatly find a donor truck and get those parts. I'll try to grab a quick pic if I can.

i did this awhile ago, and i found that the best spot to hook it up was to T-it into the brakebooster line, its a bad pic for showing this but there it is tied into my brakeboosterline.

Good pic, I see clearly where you have it. Colorful motor too My only question is, have you had any issues with introducing what amounts to a vaccum leak to the brake booster line? Just curious if this is a bad thing or not. I can see the advantage to moving that sucker off the back though.

I've seen a couple people drill a new hole into the middle of the side of the intake, and then put a fitting and run the line there. It makes sense becuase then the gases get dispersed more evenly, and you don't have to worry about creating vaccum leaks by going up to the vac tree. I've been meaning to do it myself, I may do it this weekend and take some pics which I will post here.

I went to the junk yard and forgot to grab or even look for the elbow pieces. We where in a little bit of a hurry because of the rain.

yeah like i said that pic of my clutterd engine (it needs to be straitend out!!) is not quite exact. and the way i see it, having it hooked up there is just the same as havin it hooked up on the side, it makes scense that its takin away the exact same amount of press as if it it where on the side. i dont think it has effected my brakes either.
