oil dip stick

I cant seem to find any place that carries an aftermarket flexable dip stick to fit my 78 460. It has to have a screw in end to go into the side of the oil pan. I even called my local ford dealership and they said they couldnt get it. Does anyone know where i might find one?

Check E-bay, Lokar, and even aftermarket race part sites. If all else fails call the places if you don't see a listing. They are out there, trust me.

other thing you can do is get some 5/16th brake line and screw it into the oil pan then change the oil, and then cut it down with a tubing cutter untill it reads right on the dip stick .

ford should still have it available, we just got a new one for our 400, and the pan on my 473 came from ford racing parts, it is for fox body 460 conversion.it isnt flexible style, but enters pan on drivers side
