I was told it could be used year round, but if I was planning on heavy pulling that it was advisable to remove the center section. I left it on all summer and and didn't notice any elevated temps or overheating.
I didn't really look too closely at the website, I just kinda stumbled on it. Guess I shoulda checked it out a little more closely.

I guess if you're concerned about the dealer giving you grief based on overheating/lack of air flow it MAY be a concern, but it shouldn't be. It's actually pretty open, it may reduce air flow by say 30%.
Like I said I certainly didn't have any problems. I guess at the least it makes a fancy winter front.
Thats the last person i'd ask for advice, the dealer. I couldn't even get them (service manager) to install a chip. Had to go to the ford mechanic who puts in the chip. It only takes one time to learn.
