Does anybody here have an Extang Full-Tilt tonneau cover? I am researching tonneau covers and I like this one except I have one question. What holds the tonneau cover down? I mean this is a full tilt cover, but when it is down, what holds it there? I can not see any type of locking devise on the tailgate.
I had an Extang soft tonneau on my old truck (93 Ranger) and it fit like a dream! Extremely easy to install and fit perfectly. I just bought a Penda soft tonneau for my 250, and I don't have much good to say for it, so I'm not gonna say anything at all. The point is though, the Extangs are very nice, good quality for the money.
Hope this helps!

I have a Truxedo soft cover and love it. I had a problem with the velcro after only 5 months, when I asked about it they told me they had some defective velcro leave the factory and would send me a new cover. In a week, I had the new cover. Great customer service!
I have the extang full tilt and love it. when it is down there are two handles on the inside that you give a quarter turn and they hook under the top rail of your box. If I can find the camera I will take some close up pictures for you. It's that nice my dad is going to get one for his truck too.(I would buy another one if I got a different truck)
